Biografie Treatment

Finally, the Netherlands spawned a new metalband that is worth the while. In the summer of 2006 four driven musicians came together and began writing their first songs. After recording they worked their way into the metalscene, and they never stopped working hard. Bands such as Bullet for my Valentine, Silent Civilian, Trivium, and even veterans like Van Halen and Sepultura are an inspiration to them. They blend this mixture of styles in such a way it can only be discribed as 80‘s crossover-metal-core with emo influences. This band stands for a tight energetic live show with screaming guitars and a lot of interaction with the crowd.

In 2006, Stefan Herbers approached the guys for an initial try-out. After their first try-out, only knowing each other from sharing a few beers at the local club, they just knew that they had potential and they could fill out the gap in the dutch metalscene.

In the beginning of 2007, before ever performing, Treatment recorded their first demo "Sinner" at the "Temple of Boom" in Lisse. Even though these where their first songs, they firmly stood ground on stage and got them a lot of shows. Highlights include titles such as “Grote Prijs van Twente“, “Oogst van Overijssel“ and "Toys2masters", the biggest band contest in and around Bonn(Germany). Here they reached the finals as first foreign band since 14 year.

April 2009 Treatments latest recording "Slavery" was brought into the world at an eager and overcrowded Atak. With this release, Treatment showed it has grown tremendously in terms of performing and song-writing. This mini-CD was recorded at "the Sample Temple" in Enschede and contains four songs which burst of energy. The two added interludes are a perfect intro to the brutal tracks “Slavery“ and “Kill“. While “What I‘ve Become“ shows a softer side, the catchy chorus in “Down Again“ makes it hard not to roar along. It‘s only a matter of time before the international market will get a taste of Treatment.
